Overview 

  1. Your selections: Stone, setting style, band or necklace style/length.

  2. Initial email/DM contact to finalize design ideas.

  3. An initial estimate & completion timeline sent to you.

  4. During creation: updates with final price prior to setting stones. 

  5. Pictures & video of completed piece with a private custom listing link.

  6. 72 hours to purchase the item through the link provided on this website.

Stone Choice

Most custom pieces center around a stone. We start with your selection of the color, type, and shape of your stone. This starts the process and the design can move on from here.

I typically message pictures of stone options in various lighting as well as a video so you can see them from different angles.

Setting Style

How would you like the stone to be set? Alone or with accents?

 

This step we determine if your stone will be set simply (solo, no accents) or with accents surrounding or near the stone. A common addition is a twist or simple wire surround. This accent could be around the whole or partial area of the stone.

Band or Chain Selection

With the stone and the setting selected, we move to the band or the necklace length/style. Ring bands can range in thicknesses (gauges) as well as in single, double, triple, stamped, and split shank options.

 

A general rule of thumb is the larger the stone, the larger the band. This creates the strongest setting for the longevity of the ring. Larger band widths can compliment a smaller stone nicely as well, depends on your design goals. I can mock up how it will look with a picture of the unset stone on top of various bands for a visual choice.

Necklace chain length is a personal choice. I stock necklaces in the lengths of 16", 18", & 20" depending on the style. I have an option with adjustment points of all three. Additionally, I have a chain extender for purchase as an add-on. The chain extender creates the necklace versatility to be worn 2" longer, or a double extender for 4" in length.

Custom Timeline

My turn around time is 1-2 weeks, but this depends greatly on the complexity of the project and seasonal demands. (Please allow longer times near major holidays.)

Overview

Overview of the process:

  2. I will send you an initial email to finalize design ideas.

  3. Once a design plan is finalized, an estimate & completion timeline is sent to you.

  4. During creation: I will send an update with final price prior to setting stones. (This takes into account the actual weight of the silver used & will be within the originally estimated range.)

  5. Pictures & video of your completed piece will be available with a private listing link, all within the website.

  6. I ask that pieces are purchased through the website link provided, within 72 hours. If for any reason you decide to not purchase the item, please let me know. I will list it for sale on the website. 

 

Deposits are only required when the estimate is over $250.

All stones will be held for you during this time free of charge.

*I reserve the right to sell items if communication is lost for more than a week or purchase is not made during the 72hrs of completion.
